Country music fans from all over the south showed up in Pelham, Ala. on Aug. 23 to watch Keith Urban perform at Oak Mountain Amphitheater.

It was extremely hot with little breeze but that did not keep the fans from pouring in the amphitheater. The night started off with opening performances from Jerrod Neimann and new country music artist, Brett Eldredge.

Eldredge sang “Beat of the Music” to energize the crowd. He sounded great, and his songs got the fans engaged in the performance. During this time the crowd was still walking into the amphitheater and taking their seats.

By the time Neimann went on, most of the crowd had arrived and were waiting for Keith to come out. Neimann performed for the remainder of time singing songs of his such as “Lover, Lover” and “I Can Drink to That All Night.”

When Keith came on stage, the crowd went crazy with cheers and screams. After a few songs he stopped to talk with some of those in the crowd. Urban then proceeded to take a picture with fans that had come up from south Alabama for the concert.

A new guest was welcomed to the stage as Keith began to sing his duet of “We Were Us.” Bailey Ingle from Hoover, Ala. was picked to sing with Keith Urban after winning a video contest. The crowd loved her; she was given huge amounts of applause for her performance.

Urban sang his heart out until he said his goodbyes and bowed, leaving the stage. He was given a standing ovation from the crowd and was applauded for several minutes until he came back for an encore. The fans were ecstatic and stayed on their feet for the remainder of the time.

His encore lasted for about five songs. Urban left the stage following the show to get ready to meet with the VIP guests.

The concert was a success and left smiles on the faces of the fans as they left the amphitheater on their way home.
