Vampire Diaries gives life to the dead

Premiering first on Sept. 10, 2009 on the CW Television Network, The Vampire Diaries took hold of viewers. Based off the books written by L.J. Smith, the encompassing show has both caused fury and happiness in its fan base. With the show comes death and love, not to mention the handsome and beautiful cast that carry the characters perfectly across the screen. Vampire Diaries not only catches your attention but holds onto your emotions as well.
With the rating TV-14, Vampire Diaries can be pleasing from teens to adults. It is not hard to get caught in the Netflix trend of binge watching and watch an excessive number of episodes. Not to mention, the constant plot twists leave viewers reeling for what is to come in the next episode. Overall each season presents its own problems and resolutions that leave the next season full of possibilities.
Vampire Diaries comes extremely recommended for those that enjoy supernatural entertainment. The fact that it also encompasses the beauty of life compared to death and living for eternity draws in viewers. The show is currently on its seventh season, but Netflix is the best way to catch up. After catching up on Netflix, episode 10 premieres Jan. 29.
