Free concerts coming your way
August 12, 2016
Summer just ended and there is big excitement as everyone awaits for fall concerts. This year, instead of breaking the bank you can find some cheap and free concerts to attend for a great night.
Coming up first is a Judah and the Lion concert in Auburn, Alabama, on Aug. 19. It will be held on Auburn University’s Student Center Green Space from 5-7 p.m.
Judah and the Lion is a folk band that formed in Nashville, Tennessee while a few of the band members attended Belmont University.
Another popular band you can watch for free this fall is Young the Giant. They will be playing on Thursday, Sept. 1 as part of Lightning 100’s Live On the Green free concert series.
Live On the Green is held each year in Nashville, Tennessee, at Public Square Park. The event will be set up near the plaza and anyone who comes to watch will be able to stand in the “grassy area” of the park.
More artists and bands playing at Live On the Green include Allen Stone, Passenger, BØRNS, Band of Horses and once again, Judah and the Lion.
