After the holidays, January does not bring much excitement unless you are a lover of Girl Scout cookies. The beginning of a new year marks the start of cookie sales.

Girl Scouts is celebrating 100 years of the sale of their famous cookies. In the act of celebration the organization is introducing two new s’more cookies.

The first new tasty treat is a crispy graham cookie double dipped in crème icing and finished off with a chocolatey coating. The second s’more cookie is a crunchy graham cracker, filled with chocolate and a sweet marshmallow filling.

Both cookies were inspired by two Girl Scout traditions, s’mores around the campfire and cookies. These treats have been added to the 2017 cookie list joining the traditional cookies such as; Thin Mints, Samoas, Caramel deLites, Tagalongs, Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbreads, Trefoils, Lemonades, Savannah Smiles, Toffee-Tastics and Trios.
