Get ready to groove with Huntsville’s second annual Music Month in September. Huntsvilles Music Office is going to have free admission concerts with artists like Deqn Sue, Kelvin Wooten, Lamont Landers, and more. This year’s Music Month will include over 100 events on Sep. 1-3 in Big Spring Park.
Artists that are performing:
- Deqn Sue – Pop
Deqn Sue was featured in the September 2022 issue of Rolling Stone and will be the headliner for opening night.
- Kelvin Wooten – R&B
Grammy award-winning musician and producer will join Deqn Sue. He is known for “Understand it (Pon da Phone)”
- Lamont Landers – Rock
“High-energy and soulful sounds.” He is most known for his song “Love and Happiness” that aired in 2015
- Jessy J – Jazz
Sep 3, Jessy J will be joining Jazz in the Park – Huntsville. She started her journey at playing piano at age four.
- Microwave Dave – Blues
Beloved Huntsville musician will come to Huntsville’s Music Month Launchpad on Sep 2. He was named “Southern Blues”
- Element XI – R&B/Soul
They are described as “electro-funk-hop soul.” Their most popular song is “Want This Love”
- Tr3ple Threat – Hip Hop
Group of 3 producers working together from California
- Erisa Nicole – Jazz
A smooth jazz player that will calm you down. With her latest song “Fresh” which aired this year.
- Common Man, Dante’ Pride – Hip hop
Dante’ Pride is a growing Christian Hip Hop that started in the ‘80s.
- Alabama A&M Maroon and White Marching Band
Known as the “Show-band of the South.” They have been in existence since 1890. They’ve performed all over the country and have a distinguished history.
