We are going to start with the second part of this section where we are going to talk about these new films that are coming to theaters this year. These movies seem pretty interesting so that’s why we are going to talk about them and write how we feel about them.
How To Train Your Dragon, released on June 13, 2025, is the first movie that we are going to talk about. This movie is the live-action version of the original animated movie How To Train Your Dragon, which was released in 2010. This is going to have almost the same story that we saw in the previous animation movie, but just with some changes. It is about a young Viking named Hiccup who breaks a tradition of centuries by being friends with a dragon named Toothless. They bond more when a threat occurs that’s dangerous for both species, and they have to go through a lot of paths that are going to send them to delicate places, where they find out what it is to be a hero.
Jurassic World Rebirth is a new film coming to theaters on July 2, 2025. This movie is about Zora Bennett and a team of experimented people that have a mission to go to a dangerous island to look for Dinosaurs DNA that can improve some benefits to mankind. As they go on the expedition it becomes more risky, and they soon discover something scary and shocking that’s been hiding from the world for decades. This movie seems like it’s going to be interesting for all the people who like Jurassic World the most.
The next movie that’s coming out this year is Freakier Friday that’s releasing on August 8, 2025. This movie seems to attract so many generations that grew up watching the first movie of Freaky Friday which was released in 2003. This film is about Tess and Ana who discover that bad luck can be back and it’s going to make them face some challenges that come when two families unite. The exciting part is that most of the original cast is going to be in this new film.
The Conjuring 4: Last Rites: this film is coming to theaters on September 5, 2025. The Conjuring sequels are coming to an end and this will be the last of these horror movies. It’s an upcoming film that’s based on real events that the Warrens had to go through. The movie will be about a couple of paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, who will be taking their last terrifying case involving some strange entities that they must confront.
This is the end of the second part of this section where we talk about the summer films that are coming this year. This might be one of the best years to go to the theaters to watch these new movies and a lot of people might have a lot of expectations for some of these films. After the movies release, we will see which one of these movies the audience liked most and the one they liked least.
