Paper Drive for Teachers Proves Successful
September 13, 2019
The beginning of the school year marks the start of teachers having to restock their classroom. From Germ-X to color pencils, the necessities of a classroom can get expensive, despite supply replacement funds.
To combat this yearly struggle, PTO sponsored a copy paper drive.
“We think that the paper drive was a success,” secretary of PTO, Cindy Vechinski said. “We ended up having enough copy paper for each classroom teacher to get one ream of paper.”
This was made possible by the generous donations of parents and outside donors.
PTO plans to give to teachers, once again, during winter, supplying them with hand sanitizer and tissues.
“Tissues and hand sanitizer are things teachers are always short on,” Vechinski said. “Start stocking up when you see these items on sale.”
