The softball team made history last weekend by winning the school’s third consecutive state championship.

The team faced Hillcrest of Tuscaloosa in the finals, defeating them 6-5 in the first game and 11-4 in the second game to claim the title.

“Three in a row with these seniors is very special, “coach Dale Palmer said.

The team ended the season 62-4-2.
