The team had a four and out in the first possession of the ball game. The Black Bears scored a touchdown on their first possession. The team didn’t back down, though. Sophomore Chase Parker burst out of the huddle for a long reception that put the Senators on the board. When the team return from the locker room from halftime they kicked the ball off to their opponent and held them to another a four and out. After that, the team got on the score board again when freshman Parker Swords caught an touchdown pass from freshman Devin Kimbrough making the score 21-28 at the end of the third quarter.

Going in to the fourth quarter both teams were scoreless till sophomore Moses Hobbs caught an interception, which led to a score by freshman Devin Kimbrough. The score was 34-35 and instead of kicking the field goal the team went for the win. The team wasn’t successful on the two-point conversion so the ending score was 34-35 Austin on top.
