Another night of solid shooting gave the boys’ basketball team a win over fourth ranked Gadsden City.

The Senators struck first with a two-point jump shot by sophomore Amarius Beasley. The team followed with a total of nine 3-pointers to secure the win, 82-76.

“Our shooting was on again tonight. We made some dumb mistakes, but I told the guys that I knew we would win the game,” coach Jamie Coggins said.

Gadsden City got within four points of the Senators in the third quarter, but the team responded with a 3-pointer to keep the lead at six.

“It felt good to get this big win,” senior Jalen Green said.
