Chance McClendon ran for two touchdowns in a 21-14 win over Class 7A, No. 5 Austin.

McClendon scored on runs of 55 and 86 yards. Nick Sawyer threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Foley. Austin scored on Quincy Crittendon’s 18-yard pass to Winston Lyle and Tre Schackelford’s 69-yard run. It was tied at halftime.

After a late turnover by the Senators, the Black Bears had the ball in the closing minutes, but Austin’s drive ended on downs at the Senators’ 22-yard line with 1:15 left.
