The Senators moved to 2-0 Friday night after shutting out Huffman High School, 65-0.
Junior Josh Murphy led the Senator’s defense with 10 tackles. The defense took center stage causing two fumbles and one interception.
On the offensive side of the ball, senior Jayden “Drip” Thomas and junior Jaiden Scott rushed for two touchdowns a piece. Senior quarterback, Josh Ward, threw five touchdown passes.
The score was 58-0 at halftime, leading to a decision to play two four-minute quarters to finish the game.
The team faces area foe Austin High School Friday, Sept. 8 at Senator Stadium.
