Senior Amaree Jabarr started the game off with a touchdown which ended in a blowout over Grissom, 51-0 for a homecoming win.
The offensive effort was led by the connection between senior Josh Ward and junior Jonathan Rozier. Ward went 13 of 17, 156 passing yards and two touchdown passes in the first half. Rozier had six receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. The rushing effort was led by Jayden Thomas with two touchdowns and Jaiden Scott with one rushing touchdown and 72 yards.
The defense had another great performance led by junior Josh Murphy with nine tackles. Sophomore Jamarion Matthews and junior Jayden Chambers both had four tackles apiece while senior Yves Ponder had five tackles. Senior Jalyn Chambers led the secondary with one pass defended and an interception returned for a touchdown.
The Senators moved to 5-0 and will face James Clemens, who is also undefeated in the region, on Oct. 6 at Madison City Stadium.
