The varsity Lady Senators are back on the attack after a loss to Hoover. They recently played Briarwood Christian and won 4-3.
“Right now we are focused on getting better game by game. We have multiple star players and an amazing talented team,” coach Sam Tidmore said.
The team is 0-1 in the area, after losing to Huntsville. The next area game is against James Clemens on March 7. Tidmore expects a win against James Clemens and a comeback against Huntsville High.
“If I could describe this season with one word I would say: nostalgic. We just came off of a state championship, and most of my team is seniors. I think it’s been a reflective year for everybody, I mean we’ve come so far as a program since the seniors first year with us,” Tidmore said.
