Crossroads with the Car Riders

It used to take two turns to get into the car rider line in the midst of early morning traffic, but now the journey has been extended by the bright orange cones that grace the line that has now branched out into a larger division of the student parking lot.
For students like senior Dominque Satterwhite, this new addition to the parking lot has been taking a negative toll on the weight of traffic among the students at the end of the day.
“Traffic is coming from two different directions all trying to get to the same place and it makes it so hard,” Satterwhite said.
Junior, Emily Collins, also finds herself in the same pool along Satterwhite; facing similar worries with the car rider line, this time, however, regarding the speed at which student drivers are able to get out of school.
“It takes quite a bit longer to get out,” said Collins. “I feel like it slows everything down.”
Contrary to common opinion ,senior Hope McClain views the car rider line as a difficulty that has now morphed into a successful facility for the morning and afternoon traffic.
“Initially, it was annoying, but the car rider line seems to run a lot smoother now, so I guess it was for the best,” said McClain.
